Nickolas Goin

Reliable friend, passionate husband, loving brother, student, musician-of-all-trades…these are terms used frequently to describe Pathways Youth Pastor, Nickolas Goin. He’s known as someone who enjoys joking around but can be trusted when it’s time to be serious. “In the past, I have learned how to endure the hard times, and help others through them, while picking up jokes along the way. I have developed a love for the Bible and for Christ, which I owe in part to my own experiences as a high school student in youth group,” says Nick. A native of Springfield, he is enrolled in the bachelor’s program at MSU, with a major in Electronic Arts (Multimedia) and a minor in 3D Art. He later plans to go to a school of theology to seek a Masters of Divinity. His desire is to use his skills to effectively serve a local church and possibly nurture a church start of his own some day. “For now, I love technology, I love youth, and I love God,” says Pastor Nick, “the three of them put together have placed me in this great position as the Youth Minister of Pathways UMC.”

Pastor Nick is married to the lovely Kelsie Goin.
